Selangor is on the western coast of the Malay Peninsula and is a hereditary constitutional monarchy. It is a highly developed state with the largest airport, port and some of the best educational institutions and modern medical facilities in the country.
Comprises of two main islands of Pulau Perhentian Besar and Pulau Perhentian Kecil. It is covered with virtually untouched forests and the area is a sanctuary for the migratory birds and the fishermen. Pulau Perhentian can be translated into English as 'Stopover Island'; this means it is something which can't be missed while you are on a tour of Malaysia.
